In combination with a shelf board of your choice, this wood shelf bracket becomes a wall shelf for any area of your home. Our wood shelf brackets are made of poplar plywood with a birch top layer. THOR wood shelf bracket are extra sturdy and available in four sizes. Used in pairs, they can hold up to 60 kg. For wall mounting we recommend 4.5 x 55 mm screws and 6 mm dowels - these are not included.

THOR Wooden Shelf Brackets.

I purchased the 24x19x3 cm Thor brackets, which are 13mm thick, untreated and drilled with four counter sunk holes. Two to fix the bracket to the wall and two to fix the shelf to the bracket. As the brackets do not have a finish, they can be painted, lacquered or in my case varnished.

p to 60 kg and recommend using 4.5 x 55mm screws to fix the brackets to a brick wall. I had 4.5 x 60mm to hand so used them, I also used 4.5 x 25mm to fix the shelves to the brackets.

I intended to use these bracket on purpose built 18mm hardwood faced plywood shelving, each two meters long so used four brackets per shelf to hold the complete shelf of heavy old books, which they do so very well.

Since the brackets do not have any support between the vertical and horizontal sides, it’s very easy to mark, drill and screw the bracket fixings to both the wall and shelf.

I like Thor brackets and have several sizes fitted to shelves throughout my house. They look nice, can be finished to personal taste, easy to fit and hold a surprisingly large amount of weight for their size and unsupported design. Read Less

Delivery is free for any order value over €100. You will have to pay a flat-rate shipping charge of €5,95 per order for anything under €100.
Long goods shipping: The shipping costs for P-SLOT wall tracks from a length of 150 cm are €8,95.
The flat-rate shipping charge for small items within Germany is €4,95.

In Germany, merchandise immediately available will arrive within 1-5 days after receipt of payment.
For all other countries, delivery may take between 3-8 days.

Parcel service or carrier deliveries

Smaller shipments are dispatched as parcels or letters. Deliveries are handled by GLS; we also use DHL within Germany.
Bulky and oversized shipments are delivered via the carrier Schenker. Your package will be delivered kerb-side on a disposable pallet. Carrying everything inside will be up to you.
Deliveries are done Monday-Friday (GLS, Schenker) or Monday-Saturday (DHL).
