It features an industrial design look and its modular character makes it incredibly versatile. The freestanding version in a large design can be the centrepiece in the living room. In sideboard size, it is a storage miracle in the home office

The LIUM black shelving unit impresses with its innovative plug-in system. This makes it possible to configure the shelf in any length and width and to extend it at any time. You can choose between the shelf widths L and XL in 54 cm and 86 cm. A combination of both is also possible. LIUMFIX node elements ensure stability and cohesion. They connect the vertical profiles
and the profiles for shelf boards
, on which the shelf boards are placed.
Materials and fabrication
The node elements
of the LIUM black shelving unit are "Made in Italy": They are produced in a zinc casting process and then powder-coated. They are the centrepiece, as they connect the profiles of the shelving system and ensure stability. The wooden shelf boards consist of eco-friendly chipboard and they are given a beautiful natural wood finish that can be also perceived haptically.
Design
Timeless and modern, the combination of matt black metal with shelf boards made of oak, black ash or glass
is convincing. It can be configured as desired and extended at a later date. This makes the LIUM black shelving unit usable for many years without losing its modern design.
Cubes
With the LIUM Cubes,
you can extend your shelf as needed. The inserts offer additional storage space and can be integrated either open or with a door to make your shelf even more functional and customised.
Feature
The shelf boards of the LIUM black shelving unit are removable and can simply be left out if required. In this way, two compartments can be easily connected in height. This creates space for a larger plant, for example, which can then be spread over several compartments of the shelf.
Wall mounting
In order to be able to hang the LIUM black shelving unit on the wall, a LIUM wall profile
for shelf boards has been developed. This has holes that guarantee secure fixing of the LIUM hanging shelf.

Assembly
What should I keep in mind when assembling the LIUM black shelving unit?
You will need a little time and patience and if possible an extra pair of hands for the assembly of your LIUM black shelving unit. Before you can start assembling the black shelving unit, you will first have to screw together the connectors, the so-called "nodes". Once these are done, the rest will be easy: All you have to do is look at the assembly instructions
and combine the connectors with the connection rods. Once the basic structure is assembled, you just have to place the shelf boards onto your black shelving unit. The levelling feet will be a great help to straighten out the shelf on uneven flooring.
